Premier League Darts 2018 - Judgement Night

Premier League Darts Shakeup

The UK weather earlier this month brought disruption to the Premier League and the UK Open earlier this month. Round 5 of the Premier League scheduled to be played in Exeter was cancelled, while the UK Open in Minehead, Wales was played behind closed doors. Despite many fans attending the UK Open, none were allowed into the event. In both cases this was put down to travel safety and arena safety reasons. Fans in some cases had travelled from all parts of the UK and Europe to watch their dart stars in action only to be told hours before the start that the events would not go ahead as planned.

Although many thousands of fans were destined to attend the Premier League on Thursday 1st March their disappointment has become the Netherlands delight with an event reschedule and an extra Premier League Night on Wednesday 18th April at the Ahoy Stadium in Rotterdam.

Reschedule

The reschedule means Round Nine, normally known as the ‘Judgement Night’ where two players are eliminated from the league will now be pushed onto Round Ten. The schedule for Round Ten will now be as per the cancelled Night Five schedule, detail below:

Night Ten ‘Judgement Night’ – April 5th, Echo Arena, Liverpool

  Gary Anderson v   Rob Cross
  Daryl Gurney v   Peter Wright
Mensur Suljovic  v   Michael van Gerwen
Raymond van Barneveld v   Michael Smith
  Simon Whitlock v   Gerwyn Price

The top bookmakers rating betting odds will be fierce on who will top the leader board and who will be eliminated.

The Premier League players schedule following Judgement night will be announced shortly after 5th April

Extra Premier League Night

The Premier League night on Wednesday April 18 at Rotterdam Ahoy Arena, Netherlands will not only give fans another chance to see live Premier League darts action but will also see valuable money raised for the Dutch Sports Disability Foundation (Fonds Gehandicaptensport).

A donation of one euro per ticket sold for the new date of Wednesday April 18 will be made to the Dutch Sports Disability Foundation. Tickets for this event are available to purchase now via ticketmaster.nl.

Both Dutch players, Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld, assuming both avoid elimination, will be hoping to impress in front of their home crowd. For a clear review their winning odds and an over view of the best odds for other players playing in the Ahoy Area, 1xbet has it all.

Premier League Extra

The players will return to normal schedule on Thursday 19th April to the sell-out Ahoy Arena. A Dutch Double Night of darts!

The players will continue to battle it out for a play-off space and ever position financially counts. There is a bonus for the player who tops the table after Round 15, 10th May. The top four players will then go to the Play-off Finals at the London O2, Arena.
