MIKE (HEREFORDSHIRE) - email@example.com
Having played in local leagues for 20 years I had never had any problem releasing my darts. However 18 months ago it appeared and I couldnt hardly hit the board, was it confidence? maybe!. What I did and I am now virtually cured was to throw heavier darts and more quickly than normal plus not aiming for anything in particular just to get a rythum - took some getting used to but my theory worked for me. I throw 22 gram darts and now hold them very lightly between my fingers - releasing them is now easy because it feels like im holding nothing!! I am now playing decent darts again (superleague level) standard of play!, its taken but its worked. Good luck.
